Optical illusions (sometimes called also visual illusions) are cool images perceived in a manner that differs from objective reality. What the human eye sees is interpreted by the brain in a way that contradicts physical measurement of the source image.

You can find several types of cool optical illusions on this site all sorted into detailed categories located below and in menu on the right side as well. They are suitable not only for adults but also for kids.

The Hidden Tiger

This is not an easy optical illusion. It was created by American wildlife artist Rusty Rust, and it shows a huge Bengal Tiger standing in a bamboo forest. Your mission now is to look for “The Hidden Tiger” in the image above. Where is the hidden tiger? Once you see it, it seems so obvious.

19 dolphins

Figures of animals are conceived in Steven Michael Gardner picture no-less than 19 hidden dolphins! Well, not all of them are hidden, but I’m sure you understand what I’m saying. Long has passed since we featured one of the “Spot the Animal” illusions by Steve, and I think this one will come refreshing. If you look at it cursorily, you will find 2-3-4 etc. animals, but you study it in detail, you will find 10, 15 and more hidden animals. Count, how many animals are hidden in this picture. Dolphins

What did you see in the picture? You saw a couple in an intimate pose, right? Look at it again!

Interestingly, research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario.

What they will see, however, is the nine dolphins in the picture! (I have friends tell me that they see more than 9 dolphins) Can you see more than 9?

If you can’t see the dolphin, it proves that you are not a young innocent child now. If you can’t find the dolphins within 6 seconds, your mind is indeed corrupted and you may need help. ^_^

Do you find something unusual in this picture? Can you see any human face in this optical illusion? If not just move away from the screen and try focusing on the center portion.

The real beauty in this crazy picture is the attention to detail that the artist, Octavio Ocampo took. Try this: squint your eyes a little and you’ll see that the man with the guitar fades away, ad the old man staring into the old woman’s eyes really starts to pop out at you.
Perhaps the scariest part of this illusion is that the younger woman has some really mean sideburns! Look out!
Also, keep looking until you find: the young girl, the tequila bottle, and the giant vase! Quite a crazy optical illusion painting!
